David Blair Homes was established in 1999 with two primary goals: quality home construction and total customer satisfaction. The company has built homes in multiple neighborhoods in and around North Augusta SC. including Hammond’s Ferry, Campbell Town Landing, Windtree, Currytowne Station, Savannah Baroney, The Rapids, Shaw Estates at Mount Vintage Plantation, and Northridge in Columbia County, Georgia.

Prior to establishing his home building company, David worked 18 years in local and national hospital management where he was involved with several building projects. "Even though my responsibilities were quite broad in hospital administration, I always enjoyed my involvement in construction the most", he recalls.

He left the hospital field in 1999 and returned to his hometown of North Augusta to establish David Blair Homes. He began to assemble a team of subcontractors, plan designers, and suppliers who share the same commitment to quality and customer service as he does, many of which are still with him today.

David holds both undergraduate and masters degrees in Business and a masters degree in Hospital Administration from Georgia State University. Additionally, he has continued his residential building education through local and national seminars and coursework and is currently pursuing his Master Builder Certification through the South Carolina Homebuilders Association.

He is a founding member of the Hammond’s Ferry Builders Guild, a select group of builders examined by the customer service surveying firm GUILD QUALITY and approved to build in the Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) of Hammond’s Ferry.

His wife Jill is involved in plan design, finishes selections, marketing, and office management. They currently reside in North Augusta with their 3 children.
